Feedback from patients, families, partners, our communities and our team has informed each step of the planning of this new regional hospital and the commitment to ongoing connection with our communities remains a priority. In the fall of 2025, as our teams work on detailed design and planning there will be many opportunities to learn about the project. Join us in beautiful Kenora as we plan and implement a new regional hospital!
Located on the shores of Lake of the Woods on a new greenfield site, the new hospital will be over 300,000 square feet in size and co-located with several community partners on a large campus of care. The project is entering the detailed design and procurement phases with the support of Infrastructure Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Health.
